Failing Economy Predicts Worse Health

Summary:   Many are predicting that as the economy worsens so will the healthcare crisis, especially for children.  A recent study found that those children without continuous health insurance were fourteen times less likely to visit a doctor and much less likely to fill prescriptions for necessary medication.  However, those who were privately insured were also more likely to lose coverage if their parent lost their job which is increasingly happening.  Americans are also facing a number of economic issues related to healthcare.
