Summary: During the holiday season, families are wondering how much contact is enough. With all of the technology available, there are a number of options available to keeping in touch with distant relatives. According to a sociologist at the University of Missouri in Kansas City, families are questioning how much connectedness is enough. The loss of intimate connection could potentially redefine family structure and social interaction. On the other hand, a number of social networks have also developed.
